SYDNEY, Australia, May 15, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Professor Alan Trounson, of Monash University in Australia has admitted that he killed over 40 human embryos in various experiments seeking to extract stem cells since 1995. Trounson claims that the stem cells are now self-replicating and thus “Hypothetically, we would never have to go back and use another embryo.”

Trounson called the stem cells derived from the deliberate lethal experimentation on human beings in their first stages of life, “an incredible resource for humanity.” He said he would make them available to interested scientists the world over.
