WASHINGTON, July 30, 2002 (LSN.ca) – The American Life League claims that a new bill in the U.S. Senate would oblige insurance companies to cover abortifacient drugs. As early as this week, Senators Harry Reid (Nevada Republican) and Olympia Snowe (Maine Republican) plan to tack S. 104, their contraceptive mandate bill, to a prescription drug bill recently passed by the House.
