LONDON, ON, July 12, 2001 (LSN.ca) – The Southwestern Ontario leg of the Show The Truth Tour kicked off to a great beginning on Monday, July 9th. In particular, the two morning presentations in Windsor, Ontario garnered mainstream media coverage – print, radio and television. Main organizers, Rosemary Connell and Phil Arnsby were delighted with the coverage. Additional exposure was given when CBC Radio interviewed Phil Arnsby this afternoon in London. Arnsby was instrumental in organizing the tour, with the help of other pro-life leaders from various communities.

Sporting a core team of over forty members, ranging in all ages from different points in the province, Show The Truth Canada presents a strong visual message of the disturbing reality of abortion. Although many people – even pro-lifers – are not comfortable with showing large photos of aborted babies to the public, organizers say it is a method which “makes the noun ‘abortion’ into a concrete verb.”“Thousands of people are seeing the truth in a way that they otherwise wouldn’t,” says Rosemary Connell. “Street activism is the front-line; Show The Truth cuts through all the talk, all the strategy planning, everything else.”

Show the Truth invites others to join them on the rest of the tour. Organizers urge participants to wear a hat, sunscreen and loose clothing and to arrive at designated locations twenty minutes early for prayer, organization, and instructions. To confirm locations and/or times, call either 519-319-0005 or 519-319-0000.
