MILWAUKEE, Nov 11 (LSN) – On May 9th, 1997, James Chinavare, a devoted family man with three young children , was served notice by a Special Agent from the Wisconsin Department of Justice that he was to be charged with eight counts of violating an injunction.  James violated the injunction by counselling women on a public sidewalk outside the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic near downtown Milwaukee.

Wisconsin State Attorney General, James Doyle, is set to imprison James for 8 years.  In 1992, Doyle obtained an injunction against 36 pro-life individuals, including James, which ordered them to stay 25 feet away from the entrance of Milwaukee abortion clinics.  Since 1994, the injunction was not enforced and James had been going within the restricted zone to pass out literature and share the Word of God with abortion-bound mothers and fathers.

After two and a half years, judge Doyle decided to charge James.  Since last January, the proponents of the culture of death have videoed him violating the injunction 8 times and have accumulated these episodes into eight charges, each of which carry a one year sentence.  Hence, James is looking at 8 years in prison and a $40,000.00 fine!
