(LifeSiteNews) — Pop star Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for president, citing Harris and her running mate Tim Walz’ support for abortion, so-called “LGBTQ+ rights,” and in vitro fertilization (IVF).
In a September 10 post, just hours after the end of the second presidential debate, Taylor Swift announced her endorsement of Democratic candidates Harris and Walz as future president and vice president of the United States.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” she wrote. “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”

Swift referred to Harris as a “steady-handed, gifted leader,” adding, “I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.” Harris, a former U.S. senator from California who was ranked the most liberal member of the Senate, has faced criticism for years over her handling of a massive surge of illegal immigration and record-breaking inflation under the Biden-Harris administration, among other things.
Swift particularly cited Harris’s promotion of the LGBT agenda, abortion, and the embryo-destroying practice of IVF as reasons for her endorsement.

“I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights [sic], IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades,” she declared, euphemistically referring to the murder of the unborn.
Tim Walz, the Democratic governor of Minnesota, has signed legislation protecting “gender transition” surgeries and drugs for children, legalizing abortion at all stages of pregnancy, repealing the state’s parental notification requirement for abortions and ban on coerced abortion, and allowing babies who survive abortions to be denied lifesaving medical care.

“I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice,” Swift said. “Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make.”
While IVF, which Harris and Walz strongly support, is often promoted as a solution to infertility, it separates sexuality from procreation, leads to the death of millions of unborn children, and comes with various health dangers.
Swift’s endorsement is hardly a surprise. While the pop star was originally from the Republican state of Tennessee, she has been an outspoken liberal for years, using her popularity to push radical agendas on her fans.
In 2019, Swift doubled down on her leftist social justice warrior persona with the release a music video of an LGBT anthem that depicts those who hold a Christian view of homosexuality and a biological view of sex as angry, dim-witted rednecks

The same year, she donated $113,000 to a pro-LGBT group lobbying to defeat a series of Tennessee bills meant to protect marriage and the religious and privacy rights of adoption agencies, businesses, and schools from LGBT encroachment.
Indeed, even Swift’s sign-off revealed her anti-life and anti-family agenda. Swift’s endorsement was signed “With love and hope, Taylor Swift Childless Cat Lady.”
“Childless Cat Lady” is in reference to a comment by JD Vance, Donald Trump’s running mate, in which he pointed out that women without children do not have the same investment in the country’s future as mothers.
While Swift may have intended the sign-off to be a show of feminist power, it revealed the effects of embracing the radical feminist and leftist agendas pushed by the Harris-Walz ticket, which would leave many women childless and unfulfilled.
