BRAMPTON, ON, Apr 30 (LSN) – Yesterday, The Toronto Star reported that parents of several 10-year-old students at Kingswood Drive Public School are protesting a shockingly explicit and unauthorized sex education lecture given by teacher Peter Rowan to his grade five class. The students told their parents that Rowan described homosexual activity and condom use in graphic detail.  After being confronted by the school principal and several concerned parents last Friday, Rowan was removed from the class until a disciplinary hearing was held on Monday. By Tuesday, Rowan was back in the classroom, and the school board refused to reveal what disciplinary action, if any, was taken.  School board Superintendent John Rennie told reporters that Rowan included material in his presentation “that would not be in our curriculum”
