Abortionist given sedatives to calm his temper tantrums   BRISBANE, Australia, June 19, 2002 (LSN.ca) – Court testimony during an inquest into the death of an abortionist saw the deceased’s anesthetist admitting that Dr. Peter Bayliss had left a patient tied to a bed with a sanitary pad stuffed in her mouth to “shut her up.”

An earlier inquest found that Bayliss’ death was due to a heart condition in turn caused by sleeping pill toxicity.  Bayliss’ anesthetist and his wife slipped sedatives into Bayliss’ drinks in order to calm his temper tantrums.  “The patients were terrified of him when he got into that state,” testified anesthetist Dawn Cullen.  See the coverage by the Courier-Mail:  https://www.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4057,4536946%255E13762,00.html
