WASHINGTON, May 9, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In its May 7th report, the Campaign for Working Families (CWF) , headed by pro-family activist Gary Bauer, reported that Texas has this month become the 37th state to ban homosexual ‘marriage.’ CWF emphasizes that only one more state is required to make up the “three-fourths majority required to ratify a constitutional amendment” to explicitly restrict marriage to a man-woman relationship. The organisation notes that defence of marriage legislation is currently pending in the Ohio State Senate and it is urging Ohio citizens to contact their state senators and urge them to support Senate Bill 65, sponsored by Sen. Wachtmann.
