News

Dear Readers,

The results of our current fundraising campaign have been tallied to date and we wanted to tell you how thankful we are for your contributions.  Your generosity over the last few weeks has so far provided us with over $27,000 – money that is essential for the work we do on your behalf.

If you have not donated yet, but believe our mission is an important one, pleasehelp in any way you can.  We are hoping to raise a total of at least $35,000 bynext week in the first phase of this year’s overall efforts to raise at least$400,000 to cover our 2009 costs

The impact of your financial support has been tremendous this spring.  Your donations are investments in the lives and families of this world.  Together, we have:

– Provided breaking coverage on Obama’s invite to Notre Dame and given readers an extensive contact list for them to take effective action on the situation.
– Provided forthright and detailed coverage on Obama’s anti-life and family agenda.
– Exposed Development and Peace’s funding of groups advocating for abortion
– Exposed highly questionable early inductions of babies with lethal conditions taking place at a Catholic Hospital
– Provided probably the most thorough and revealing investigative reports related to the abortions of the twins of the 9 year old girl in Brazil
– Provided reports on crucial developments in many countries around the world

You can see how your contributions enable many pro-life leaders and hundreds of thousands of people to obtain very useful, ground-breaking information on the issues the media refuses to cover. Your gifts fund our investigative reports which expose atrocities against life and family, stimulate change and eventually save lives.

We are constantly told that those who fight against the culture of death, as well as those whose lives are threatened by it, rely heavily upon LSN.

This also means they rely upon you, because without your financial backing, the mission of LSN is not possible.  Because of that support, we want to emphasize, you should share the same sense of accomplishment and healthy responsibility we feel everyday.

The donors of LifeSiteNews are as much a part of LSN as are our staff – you are LifeSiteNews!

So thank you on behalf of everyone at LSN. With you we truly are providing, and constantly improving, a vital tool for the culture of life.

If you have not donated yet, but believe our mission is an important one, please help in any way you can.  We are hoping to raise a total of at least $35,000 by next week for the first phase of this year’s overall efforts to raise at least $400,000 to cover our 2009 costs.

We also ask for your prayers for our needs in these trying times, while at the same time giving thanks for the many blessings that this work constantly receives.
