News

Good Morning Friend,

During the time that it will take you to read this article, roughly 400 babies will have been murdered in their mother's wombs around the world.

What would you sacrifice to stop this injustice?

Of course you and I know that abortion is only one of the many injustices that LSN stands against everyday in defiance of the culture of death.  And we also know that LSN reports have proven time and again to result in effective actions taken against these injustices.

Through LSN, your donation:

  • saves lives
  • educates our culture with facts not publicized by the mainstream media
  • gives exposure to the activities of the major movements (pro-life, pro-family) to resist the culture of death

informs life and family advocates how to join the fight for the culture of life

  • holds accountable the mainstream media, and forces public corrections when they prioritize their agenda over the truth
  • keeps pro-life and pro-family leaders updated with the breaking news on issues related to the missions of their organizations, so that they can in turn lead with success
  • boldly exposes hidden evils and serious weaknesses within institutions through investigative reports that have led to countless dollars in funding being removed from anti-life organizations
  • and much more?

LifeSiteNews.com is not your typical “pro-life” service. It is literally a “one-stop shop,” as it were, where our readers are given news and information about all the related issues of the culture wars.

Our work has proven effective in not only literally saving lives from abortion, but also in stemming the tide of the deluge of evil ideas and actions of the enemies of a culture of life.

We recognize that to focus only on the direct life issues such as abortion, euthanasia, etc. misses addressing the big picture of who and what is behind those deadly trends and what is allowing them to continue. Hence, we also report on how the depopulation advocates, environmental extremists, homosexualist activists, UN agencies, the EU, giant American foundations and the media are involved in the massive worldwide assault on life and family.

This is essentially an international battle with local skirmishes in every nation.

In addition, we emphasize the great importance of authentic religious renewal and expose the damaging impact to the culture of unfaithful or compromised Christian church leaders and institutions. We do this never out of a desire to condemn, but to encourage actions to correct the problems and to inspire renewal for the good of all.

Unless the Christian faith experiences renewal and again inspires and engages the world through a return to fidelity to its founder's original teachings - especially those related to the areas of life and family - progress towards a culture of life cannot be made.

A return to courageously lived, authentic Judeo/Christian religious belief and practice is ultimately the ONLY force that can and will overcome the evil movements arraigned against life and family affirming civilization.

So ask yourself, what other organization is there in the world that does what LSN does, and as comprehensively as LSN does it?

And then ask yourself, will you make a sacrifice during this advent season and donate to LSN so that this work can continue?

LSN is truly an essential tool for building the whole Culture of Life and Family. It is your monetary sacrifice that makes it possible for us to do this.

You and I know that the greatest victories in life come only through sacrifice. We also know that the modern battle for life and family depends upon the TRUTH – which is widely withheld from the public. Without the truth, propaganda and rhetoric are left unopposed to poison hearts and weaken minds.

But the only way that we can continue fighting this battle and providing the truth is if we are provided with the resources to do so.

So please consider making a generous donation today.  This is the best way that you can help us right now.

I want to leave you with this comment I recently received from a family who just committed to a monthly donation with LSN.  It was this comment that reminded me of the tremendous need for unity in sacrifice:

“We just signed on for a $50/month donation, and I have to tell you how this is possible. Although we are living in part on support from our family and 'back-up' savings due to a lack of work over the summer and fall, we realize that a small financial sacrifice is necessary to keep this essential service running – a service that us and so many others rely upon. We live in an expensive city and have mortgage payments and bills, but we simply cannot afford to be without LifeSiteNews because it does work that we cannot do.  We will not suffer for the $50/month – trust me. Our house full of belongings is a testament to God's generosity.  It is not like our family, all seven of us, will be 'without' – not by a long shot.

“God bless and we pray that the staff of LifeSite will have a holy Advent and Christmas.”

Christ won the victory over death through personal great sacrifice, just as the battle to defeat the culture of death will only be won through hardship and sacrifice.
