Andrew Lawton has published a book titled The Freedom Convoy: The Inside Story of Three Weeks that Shook the World. This week, he and Jonathon relive the protests, dive into their significance, and discuss what Lawton hopes the book accomplishes.
“I don’t think a lot of people are comfortable with the idea that could have been in vain, or at the very least that it could have been because they bought a lie. Not a lie that COVID existed, but a lie that all of these measures were necessary, that vaccine mandates were necessary, lockdowns were necessary,” he says. “And I don’t think a lot of people want to confront that they might have gone along with something they didn’t need to and shouldn’t have.”
