TORONTO, June 10 (LSN) – Toronto’s Mayor Mel Lastman announced yesterday he would march in the Gay Pride parade June 28. The Toronto Sun reported that the mayor made his decision in consultation with Kyle Rae,  the gay city councillor who was responsible for bringing the event to Toronto in 1981.  Rae predicted there would be protest, but only from a “vocal minority.” Toronto pro-family supporters are asked to contact Mayor Lastman and ask him to reconsider his intention to participate in the event.  Mayor Mel Lastman 7th Floor, Metro Hall 55 John Street Toronto, ON M5V 3C6 Phone: (416) 395-6464 Fax: (416) 395-6440 E-mail:  [email protected]
