TORONTO, Feb 4 (LifeSiteNews) – Citytv, a Toronto TV station, has partnered with the homosexual activist organization PlanetOut to produce “QT-QueerTelevision” which will premiere on Citytv on Sunday, March 5th at 12:00 midnight. The station describes the show as a “new, weekly,  30-minute, converged TV/internet program offering a rare glimpse into the lives and loves of gay, lesbian, bi, trans and open-minded straight people around the world.”  The show is to be broadcast on the Internet as well.

Moses Znaimer, President/Executive Producer of Citytv, boasted that “In 1998, Citytv became the first commercial TV station in North America to launch a regularly scheduled program about gay, lesbian and trans cultures.” Citytv is a division of CHUM Limited, one of Canada’s leading broadcasting companies and program providers.
