NEW YORK, September 4, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) – Celebration of gender dysphoria got another nod of credence in U.S. culture Sunday night as a famous transgender actor praised Miley Cyrus' raunchy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA).

The sexual exhibitionist Cyrus closed her August 30 turn as host of the VMAs by performing a new single she's releasing titled, “DOOO It,” complete with some 30 transgender and other individuals dressed in drag joining her on stage to perform, according to Breitbart.com.

“Love this epic trans moment onstage at this year's #VMAs,” Laverne Cox stated via Instagram.

The group consisted of drag queens, burlesque performers, and trans activists, the MTV website said.

The Orange Is the New Black actor also shared a photo of a group of young transgender individuals appearing onstage to introduce Cyrus before the performance.

During her number with the transgender group, Cyrus danced suggestively in a lewd costume, repeatedly mouthed an expletive, and voiced lyrics about smoking pot.

Cyrus, who announced before taking the stage with the group that her new album, “Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz,” would be available for free via the internet right after the show, similarly acted up at the same MTV event two years ago when she made lewd gestures and vulgar movements with another entertainer during a VMA performance.

The psychiatric condition, known as a gender dysphoria, continues to garner media attention, with former Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner's much publicized “transformation” to Caitlyn Jenner dominating headlines for months.

However, activists often push for its acceptance and celebration in lieu of treatment.

An Oakland, California couple announced earlier this summer they are now allowing their four-year-old son to identify as a girl.

Also, in the last several months, the Girls Scouts of Western Washington returned a large donation because the donor stipulated that it must not benefit transgender programming.

Countless situations have arisen over restroom privacy across the country, with transgender ideology bolstered by support from the Obama administration.

Roughly 150 students in Hillsboro, MS walked out of class this week to protest their school allowing a 17-year-old boy who identifies as female to use the girls' locker room.
