OTTAWA, Ontario (LifeSiteNews) – Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party has refused to disclose how much sending over 250 delegates to the U.N. climate change conference in Glasgow will cost taxpayers.

On Tuesday, Canadian Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Department of Environment refused to reveal how much taxpayer money was spent in sending a 277-member delegation on a two-week junket to the United Nations’ COP26 “climate change” conference in Glasgow that started last Sunday, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.

“The Department of Environment [on Tuesday] would not detail the cost of sending Canada’s 277-member delegation to a climate change conference in Glasgow,” reported Blacklock. “Former environment minister Catherine McKenna attended as a VIP. The department [also] did not reply when asked if she traveled at taxpayers’ expense.”

When pressed further about whether McKenna, who is no longer a public servant, would be traveling on the taxpayers’ dime, a government spokesperson dodged the question saying, “Canada has taken steps to ensure diverse perspectives are reflected in international forums.”

The international meeting, which seeks to encourage national leaders to commit to mandating lifestyle restrictions, such as reducing meat and fuel consumption, in their countries, is the 26th Conference of the Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. This year it hosts 39, 509 people, including 3,800 members of the media and 14,000 observers.

According to the Post Millennial, Trudeau sent a delegation “half the size of the current one” to the 2019 COP25 conference in Madrid, Spain, costing taxpayers $633,278, with “a number of invoices and claims” yet to be processed despite three years having passed.

As previously reported by LifeSiteNews, this year’s climate change conference immediately met with controversy as media outlets highlighted the irony of world leaders taking private jets to attend a conference concerned about so-called man-made climate change.

Scotland’s Daily Record noted that over “400 private jets” were being used to transport the more than 1,000 global leaders, staff and businessmen. Such a number of planes, wrote the Daily Record, would “produce more global warming gas than 1600 Scots burn through in a year.”

Further, Britain’s Daily Mail produced a graphic detailing the flight plans of 52 of the planes, containing politicians and businessmen, some of whom “will be urging others to cut down on air travel and eat less meat.”

United has agreed to put off its threatened COVID vaccine mandate for another 2 weeks, as proceedings came to a screeching halt in federal court last Friday.

Mark Paoletta, a partner at Schaerr Jaffe representing the plaintiffs, was quoted by Breitbart as saying:

"Now everyone can follow the court’s decision to take the time and care needed to carefully consider the legitimate claims our clients have as we seek a solution that allows United to take necessary steps to combat COVID-19 while respecting the civil rights of valuable employees who have sincere religious objections or medical conditions that make them unable to take the vaccine."

While this appears to be a lessening of tensions and possibly a step in the right direction, we must wait till the case resumes on October 15 to see if United will scrap their draconian mandate.

In the meantime, we must continue to apply pressure on United.

So, please continue to SIGN and SHARE this pledge to boycott the airline giant for threatening to impose harsh measures - including forced unpaid leave - in order to coerce employees with religious or medical objections to the vaccine to take the jab.

Thank you for continuing to SIGN and SHARE!

United Airlines is accused of not respecting the religious and medical COVID vaccine exemptions which the company offered to employees who cannot, in good conscience or health, take the vaccine.

2,000 employees of the industry giant are represented in two court cases which have been initiated to stop United from laying-off or indefinitely furloughing workers who have sought COVID vaccine exemptions.

Please SIGN this BOYCOTT of United and send the airline a stong message that you will not support the implementation of these draconian measures.

Many United Airlines employees have sincerely held religious objections to taking the COVID vaccines, while other employees have been told by their doctors not to take the vaccine due to health concerns.

The religious and medical rights of these employees must be respected, and, will hopefully be vindicated by the courts.

But, airlines are for-profit businesses, and apart from the legal incentives, there must also be financial incentives for them to respect their employees' religious and medical rights, and, indeed, the same rights of all Americans.

And, that's why we are calling for a boycott.

The CEO of United Airlines, Scott Kirby, and HR Manager, Kate Gebo, need to understand that the American public will not support businesses who force their employees or customers to violate their religious beliefs or their doctors' recommendations.

Of course, this is totally unnecessary.

United could simply make reasonable accommodations for their employees who are claiming either a religious or medical exemption.

But, until United adopts that policy, we are asking you to consider boycotting the "unfriendly skies" and find another airline for your travel needs. By doing so, you will meaningfully stand shoulder-to-shoulder with these aggrieved United employees.

Thank you for SIGNING and SHARING this petition to boycott United Airlines over the company's failure to respect religious and medical COVID vaccine exemptions for its employees.

“Apparently it is fine for billionaires to fly in on their own planes on routes already served by commercial airlines,” the Daily Mail wrote, addressing the hypocrisy.

Despite Trudeau’s liberals spending an unknown sum of money for 277 delegates to fly on expensive jets and dine in restaurants on the taxpayers’ dime, the prime minister has continued to push his mandate potentially barring millions of those taxpayers from air, plane, and sea travel, based on their private medical information.

In early October, Trudeau followed through with his plan to prohibit all commercial travel for citizens who have not received their experimental COVID-19 shots, announcing that after November 30, Canadians will be unable to travel by air, boat, or train without presenting proof-of-vaccination against COVID.

“[W]hen it comes to keeping you and your family safe, when it comes to avoiding lockdowns for everyone, this is no time for half measures,” said Trudeau last month. “The rules are very simple, to travel, you’ve got to be vaccinated.”

All currently available coronavirus injections in Canada will be in their experimental trial phase until 2023. Meanwhile, there has yet to be any clinical trial evidence showing that the novel medical products stop infection or transmission of the flu-like virus.

According to Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms attorney Allison Pejovic, the discriminatory measures put in place by Trudeau’s government are “a clear breach of Canadians’ Charter protected rights of conscience, mobility, privacy, life, liberty and security of the person, and equality rights.”

“The right to freely enter and leave Canada is one of the most fundamental Charter rights, and it is being restricted to one class of citizens over another,” she added.

“The Justice Centre is profoundly concerned about these violations and about the coercive nature of vaccine mandates in general.”
