OTTAWA (LifeSiteNews) – Justin Trudeau told reporters in Ottawa on Monday that if not enough Ontarians get vaccinated, his government would consider “other health measures” as a result.

Trudeau was speaking to reporters during a press conference at an event to announce a new project from global telecommunications company Nokia “that would help Canada successfully transition to the next generation of 5G wireless technology.”
A reporter asked a question about COVID-19 and vaccinations.
Trudeau responded: “One of things to remember as flu season approaches, is people got to get vaccinated, whether it’s getting the flu vaccine or getting up-to-date on your COVID shots.”
Trudeau seemed to consider both having a flu shot or a COVID booster as being “vaccinated.”
As part of his response, the Prime Minister seemed to intimate that Canadians could see a return to draconian measures that shut down many sectors of the country for years. He said, “If we’re able to get a high enough level of vaccination, it would reduce the danger of needing to take other health measures to make sure we’re all safe and not overloading our hospitals.”
He went on to suggest that if people are jabbed with either flu shots or COVID boosters that it would “keep pressures off of our economy and communities.”
The idea that unvaccinated Canadians have been the cause of closures has been roundly debunked by data from Canadian health care systems, as well as information from abroad.
Almost a year ago, it was made evident that countries with the highest vaccination rates experienced the highest rates of COVID hospitalization, and hospitalization rates were essentially equal between jabbed and unjabbed citizens.
Data from the Government of Ontario showed in January that those who counted as “fully vaccinated” made up the vast majority of hospitalizations in Ontario associated with COVID.
At the time, Trudeau blamed unvaccinated Canadians for new lockdowns, even though the data from Ontario and numerous other provinces showed the opposite.
