OTTAWA (LifeSiteNews) – Canada came one step closer today to becoming a full-blown Orwellian state after a policy banning Canadians over 12 who have chosen not to get the abortion tainted COVID jabs from traveling by air, sea, or train came into effect.
“As of today, vaccination is required for travel within and out of Canada,” the Public Health Agency of Canada says in a news release.
Canada’s Minister of Transport Omar Alghabra’s Ministerial Order 47 reads that “A person is prohibited from boarding an aircraft for a flight or entering a restricted area unless they are a fully vaccinated person.”
This draconian policy comes at the hands of Canada’s pro-abortion Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Those without COVID jabs will be barred from traveling both domestically and internationally.
Up until November 30, travelers without the COVID jabs were able to use proof of a negative test to be allowed to board a flight.
For now, the government is leaving it up to airlines to enforce the rules. However, it remains to be seen how this rule will apply to dual citizens or foreign nationals in Canada who by all means have a right to return to their home country.
Trudeau for some time had been promising to ban the un-jabbed from traveling both within Canada and without.
Those with the jabs will have to use Canada’s vaccine passport or their provincial system to prove they have had the still experimental injections.
According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, there will be “limited exemptions, such as a medical inability to be vaccinated” for those who want to travel without the jabs.
Ministerial Order 47 does read that those with “a sincerely held religious belief and who is entitled to be accommodated on that basis under applicable legislation by being permitted to enter the restricted area or to board an aircraft without being a fully vaccinated person,” may be able to get an exemption.
Alghabra said that “no matter the final destination, ensuring travelers are vaccinated against COVID-19 protects travelers and transportation workers.”
Legal group to challenge draconian travel rule in court
In response to Trudeau’s new rule barring the un-jabbed from travel by air, train, or sea, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) announced today that it will be looking to legally challenge “Transport Canada’s Ministerial Order 47 in Federal Court.”
“Vilifying an identifiable group in society as ‘dirty’ or claiming that they are ‘spreaders of disease’ is a page from the playbook of history’s most abhorrent tyrants,” said Jay Cameron, litigation director at JCCF in its press release.
“Ministerial Order 47 from Transport Canada is an act of appalling cruelty and persecution not seen in Canada in the past half century.”
The JCCF said that the group is now preparing court documents to “file in Federal Court, to ask the judge to uphold Canadian’s Charter rights and freedoms in the face of unprecedented government oppression.”
“The Trudeau government is ruling via ministerial fiat, not pursuant to any democratic checks and balances,” Cameron said.
“The Canadian Constitution makes no provision for the kind of autocratic rule that has become normal in Canada, at both federal and provincial levels, since March of 2020 … Measures stripping millions of Canadians of their mobility rights must go before Parliament, and not be left to the arbitrary and unchecked will of one Minister.”
JCCF staff lawyer Sayeh Hassan added that “Ministerial Order 47 is blatantly unconstitutional and is a dangerous escalation of the divisive policies that have become the hallmark of our federal and provincial governments in the past 21 months.”
On Tuesday, Canadian Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos announced that all travelers, regardless of if they have been jabbed or not, coming to the country will now have to take a COVID test upon arrival and then go into a mandatory quarantine.
For now, travelers from the United States are exempt from this rule.
Canada’s Public Health Agency also announced travel bans from certain countries due to the “COVID-19 Omicron variant of concern.”
Duclos said that foreign nationals who have been in many African countries “within the previous 14 days will not be permitted entry into Canada.”
In effect, travel to Canada from Botswana, Egypt, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, and Zimbabwe is banned.
Canadian citizens or those with a right to enter Canada regardless of their vaccination status will be allowed to come in. However, they will have to undergo “enhanced pre-entry and arrival testing, screening, and quarantine measures.”
The government says that unvaccinated travelers “with right of entry to Canada” will have to be tested on arrival “and day 8.” They will then be forced to quarantine for 14 days.
Un-jabbed Canadians who arrive by air will now be mandated to “stay in a designated quarantine facility or other suitable location while they await the result of their on-arrival test.”
Despite the travel ban for the un-jabbed, those without it will still be allowed to pass through Canada on connecting flights, says the government. Also, COVID tests are not required for in-transit travelers.
JCCF: ‘The new Covid vaccines have harmful side effects’
In its press release regarding the travel ban of the un-jabbed, the JCCF said the COVID jabs “harmful side effects” include “myocarditis and death, that have caused many Canadians to withhold their informed consent to taking one.”
The JCCF said that “medical and scientific evidence establishes” that to date, the new COVID jabs “do not prevent the transmission of Covid, in accordance with what the vaccine manufacturers themselves have stated.”
“Both the vaccinated and unvaccinated can get Covid and can spread Covid, without significant or verified differences between the two groups,” the JCCF said.
The JCCF said that both the “vaccinated and unvaccinated die from Covid,” and that “natural immunity in those who have already had Covid is as effective, and likely more effective, than vaccine-induced immunity.”
JCCF lawyer Allison Pejovic added that what Canadians are seeing is its “government escalating its persecution of the millions of Canadians who are exercising their constitutional right to bodily autonomy.”
“Preventing millions of Canadians from traveling by plane or train is a gross infringement of their civil liberties, and is guaranteed to hurt their employment, businesses and ability to feed their families.”
Trudeau has mandated COVID-19 jabs for all federal public service workers as well that have been blasted by Constitutional groups such as the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) saying such mandates are what a “totalitarian society looks like.”
The COVID-19 injections approved for emergency use in Canada, including the Pfizer jab for ages five and up, all have connections to cells derived from aborted babies.
Meanwhile, many Catholics and other Christians are opposed to the novel medical products because cell lines derived from aborted babies were used either in their development or their testing.
Also, many do not want the injections due to safety concerns surrounding the jabs. There have been reports of thousands of people who have developed tumors after getting their COVID shots.
Despite the Canadian government praising the effectiveness of the COVID jabs, trials have never produced evidence that vaccines stop infection or transmission. In fact, they do not even claim to reduce hospitalization, but the measurement of success is in preventing severe symptoms of COVID-19.
There is much evidence that COVID vaccine mandates are a failed strategy for tackling COVID, according to a growing body of data.
