(WND News Center) — Pop-star commentator and ex-Fox News host Tucker Carlson has dropped a bombshell during an interview, one of few he’s given since his abrupt departure from the cable network.
It’s that the Jan. 6, 2021, events at the U.S. Capitol, where a few hundred people rioted and vandalized parts of the building, were “filled” with federal agents.
How does he know?
He got it from then-Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund.
Tim Pool on Jan 6 following claims by Tucker Carlson that the riots were "filled" with feds:
"By the time we're at the general election next year, it will be common knowledge that it was largely a federal operation, and [Democrats] will be saying it was a good thing." pic.twitter.com/8jk71KgDTp

The Post-Millennial reports the comments came during Carlson’s recent interview with show host Russell Brand.
And journalist Tim Pool discussed the revelation on the Timcast IRL, “noting that Carlson conducted an interview with former U.S. Capitol Police Steven Sund, who was fired by then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just after the Capitol riots,” the report said.
Carlson was blunt, confirming he “never thought there was a false flag or anything like that, I’m not a conspiracist by temperament. I never thought that.”
But he confirmed Sund told him, “that crap was filled with federal agents.”
Carlson pointed out Sund would know, as “he was in charge of security at the site.”
Carlson was canceled by the Fox News Channel before that interview could be aired.

There long has been discussion of the idea that multiple federal agents acted as provocateurs at the events that day, encouraging those who may have been no more than interested participants in the Trump rally earlier in the day to become violent. Their goal would have been to trigger violence, which they then could blame on Trump, as Democrats have done in recent months.
In fact, one person who was ranting around that day, telling people to go into the Capitol, and is on video doing so, but never has been charged.
“The scary thing I suppose is, it’s it’s trickling in drops at a time,” said Pool.
“The reason why I say it’s scary is that it’s coming out only in slow droplets to the point where people don’t care because not a bombshell.”

Pool explained what he expects from legacy media outlets – those who promoted the multiple false conspiracy theories that have been created by Democrats and other leftists against President Trump and his supporters.
“First they’ll say… ‘it wasn’t happening, you’re lying.’ Now we have more information, it was, then they’re gonna say, ‘Oh, well, you’re exaggerating,’ And then by next year, it’ll be a good thing.”
Carlson indicated he hopes to interview Sund again, this time without the restrictions imposed by Fox on the first interview.
The PJNewsletter said, “We all suspected that the ‘conservative’ network fired Tucker for speaking his mind. Some noted the timing of his cancellation – just days after he aired real footage from J6. And he revealed that Fox dumped him before he could report on this.”
It continued, “The timing of this interview and Tucker’s ousting seems highly suspicious to some. Was it possible that Fox News was trying to censor this interview? Do they not want Americans to know that the U.S. Capitol Police chief believed that the crowd of ‘Trump supporters’ had been infiltrated by federal agents?”
