(LifeSiteNews) — Tucker Carlson’s interview with LifeSiteNews journalist Frank Wright has racked up 1.6 million views on X, and over half a million views on YouTube.
The reach of Frank’s interview inspires hope that his faith-founded view of the world, which rejects the liberalism so long treated as gospel by the West, will have far-reaching influence.
It is not just the quantity of the views expressed in the interview, however, but the quality of its reception that helps to gauge its impact, and by that measure, Frank has made a dazzling and lasting impression.
Viewers shared an abundance of glowing praise for Frank. Many lauded him as “brilliant.” He was alternately described as a “gem,” “amazing,” and “awesome.” A few said it was one of the best interviews available, full stop. Some expressed hope that he would be brought back on The Tucker Carlson Show, as did Carlson himself.
Carlson, a top American journalist, called Frank “one of the greatest philosophers of our day” in a post of a clip of Frank’s recent viral street interview on his social media accounts.
“Your views are true and beautifully expressed – also hilarious,” Carlson told the LifeSiteNews staffer at the conclusion of their interview. “I am thrilled to know with dead certainty that they will reach a lot of people.”
Carlson began his interview with Frank by quoting his most recent documentary episode for LifeSiteNews and saying he’ll be watching the rest.
“‘We believe in a belief system that no one believes in anymore, and it has created a terminal crisis that it can’t escape alive,’” the host repeated. “What system are you describing?”
“Well, I’m describing the system that was marketed to us as liberal democracy which we’ve been led to believe – deliberately because the system rules us by media – is the acme of human organization,” Frank replied.
“It’s like the verdict of history. And we’ve all kind of accepted that this is the only way we can live. But in fact, that system was intentionally put together over a hundred years ago. And as I’ve explained elsewhere, it is the god that failed twice. And it was there to replace the civilization that we had before.”
Frank added that the liberal system seeks to create an international standard in everything – economics, politics, culture – and when we see that, we understand “the madness.” This system excludes all beliefs except its own, but it is ultimately doomed because it cannot provide the only beliefs that explain how the world really is. And, meanwhile, life in Western liberal democracies has been completely transformed, notably through mass migration, which is enabled by “criminal gangs” and driven by pointless wars.
“Regime change changed our regime more than any other,” Frank stated.
Frank emphasized that even our worst enemies are victims of this system. He returned to this theme at the end of his interview with Carlson, when he calls for doing “better”:
In a time of deepening spiritual and economic crisis, I would like to remind everybody that, again, you can’t blame people alone, even your bitter political enemies, being the way they are. If we’re going to do better – we must do better, or we’re all finished, that’s the state we’re in – try and develop the idea of being a social missionary. Look at the idea of the 20th century as a vast revolution that tried to replace everything with itself and it’s degraded our lives completely. And look at these people, your bitter political enemies, see them as casualties on the battlefield because it’s a war on our civilization. Where you can, when you can, wherever possible, try and heal the sick and help the wounded. Because we must do better than universal vengeance and moral degradation.
