ARIZONA, March 16, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Two more videos exposing illegal cover-ups of sexual abuse by Planned Parenthood employees are due for release tomorrow by Live Action Media, a pro-life student group that has received national attention by exposing the illegal practices of the abortion giant. Earlier Live Action videos were the inspiration behind a California county board of supervisors’ recent decision to de-fund Planned Parenthood.

The videos will be the fourth and fifth installments of the Mona Lisa Project, a series of undercover video exposés revealing Planned Parenthood staff covering up statutory rape and circumventing state abortion laws in an effort to end Planned Parenthood taxpayer funding. The new footage takes place in Arizona abortion facilities.

The previous Live Action videos sparked a recent move by Orange County, CA board members to de-fund Planned Parenthood when local resident and Family Action PAC board member Marc Bucher saw the footage (https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2009/mar/09031111.html). He says the videos prompted him to investigate whether Planned Parenthood received local taxpayer dollars.

Bucher discovered that, without the knowledge of the county board, funds were indeed being funneled to the abortion group through the Orange County Health Care Agency. He then sent one of the videos and a request to de-fund Planned Parenthood to each Orange County supervisor, all of whom unanimously voted to halt the funding.

“The valuable evidence from Live Action’s investigations was crucial to de-funding Planned Parenthood in Orange County,” said Bucher. “I’m grateful for the courage shown by Lila Rose and her group to bring to light the crimes committed inside Planned Parenthood’s clinics.”

“The undercover footage from the Mona Lisa Project continues to reveal a disturbing pattern in which Planned Parenthood repeatedly covers up the sexual abuse of minors,” said Lila Rose, Live Action’s president, in announcing the forthcoming fourth and fifth installments of the project.

“Planned Parenthood needs to be held accountable and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for harming young girls. It is my hope that others like Mark will investigate Parenthood in their local communities, and put a stop to the public funding.”

The first video, filmed in a Bloomington, IN abortion mill, resulted in the termination of the guilty employee and an investigation by the Indiana attorney general. One Indiana lawmaker responded with a call to defund the organization.
