VANCOUVER, Feb 23 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Today pro-life students at the University of British Columbia will be having another pro-life display. The first display, shown on November 23rd was destroyed by pro-choice” protestors who objected to it. The students went to Supreme Court yesterday but failed to obtain an injunction to prevent a repeat destruction of their display. Similar to the previous event, the members of Students for Life will be setting up their display in front of the “Goddess of Democracy”, located near the Student Union Building from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
The display consists of graphic photos that associate the act of abortion with the atrocities of past and present practices of genocide, such as the Jewish Holocaust, the killing fields of Cambodia, the slaughter in Rwanda and the killings during the battle for freedom of American slaves. The approach that Students for Life takes on the abortion debate is that the act of abortion is another form of genocide taking place in this day and age.
