KAMPALA, Uganda, May 10 (Lifesitenews.com) – Marie Stopes, a partner with International Planned Parenthood in promoting worldwide abortion on demand, has been stopped in Uganda. Africa News reported that the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners’ Council suspended Marie Stopes Uganda last week for allegedly committing illegal abortions. Officials from the organization claimed they were not procuring abortions but were involved in “family planning services.”

The London headquaters of Marie Stopes International gained notoriety in England in July 1997 for its offering of a “lunchtime” abortion service.
