LONDON, November 27, 2001 (LSN.ca) – The House of Lords in Britain has passed a ban on human reproductive cloning, which will do nothing to prevent human cloning but merely ensure that cloned human beings are killed before birth. Health minister Lord Hunt told peers: “These are not usual circumstances as indeed yesterday’s announcement from the USA has shown.”
