NEW YORK, Nov 13 (LSN) In light of the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) which will take place next month, UN ideologues have been working hard to include homosexuality and abortion on demand in the document. At innumerable “human rights” meetings, as with one that ended this week in Geneva, the UN has been pushing for “gender equality” and “sexual and reproductive rights” to be regarded as universal human rights. It is well known that within “sexual and reproductive rights” the UN includes abortion on demand. The international agency also defines gays and lesbians as distinct “genders.”  Thus by calling for “gender equality” to be made part of the UNDR treaty the UN is asking for enforcement of these “rights” around the world.  The Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute who reported on the Geneva meeting yesterday also warned that the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson, is coming to Edmonton Alberta later this month to push again for the anti-life, anti-family proposals at an international human-rights conference.
