ANKARA, Turkey, Dec 10 (LSN)  In conjunction with the Turkish government, the UN’s Population Fund (UNFPA) competed a four day “expert seminar” this week discussing the promotion of “reproductive health and rights” with the use of “information and communications technology.” The seminar entitled, “ICPD Advocacy in the Global Information and Knowledge Management Age,” sought to use “new technologies to advocate for the goals of the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD)” which promoted abortion.  The UN press release detailing the event can be found at:  https://www.un.org/News/Press/docs/1998/19981208.pop693.html
