PHILADELPHIA, Oct 6 (LSN) – Donald Adams, one of about 70 pro-lifers staging a protest outside Philadelphia city hall is suing Teamsters’ Union boss Johnny Morris for signaling his men to beat up the pro-lifer. President Clinton was at the city hall meeting with Mayor Rendell. According to a report in yesterday’s Philadelphia Daily News Morris “clapped his hat onto” Adams’ head and immediately Adams was pounced upon by numerous Teamsters resulting in the hospitalization of the 5-foot-6 and 130 pound pro-lifer.  Michael McMonagle of the Pro-Life Union of Southeastern Pennsylvania, recalled that 90 minutes before the assault Adams asked Morris: “How can you as an Irish Catholic support Clinton?”“Morris got angry and said that Clinton was good for the economy,” McMonagle said.  The Teamsters allege that the pro-lifer had first punched two women. Adams dismissed the claims as ludicrous. “I did not punch anyone and would not punch anyone   I’m a small guy. Would I do that with a bunch of Teamsters standing around?,” Adams said. There were about 140 Teamsters present.  Police are investigating the allegations.
