Church News reports that Cardinal Bernard Law of Boston told an assembly of 800 at the recent Missouri Catholic Conference: “We must be unconditionally pro-life”. He noted that Catholics who “mute the passionate defense of the inviolability of the human person, sanction the destruction of over a million human beings each year.” 

After six years of battling abortion providers, Michigan’s Women’s Right to Know law went into effect Monday requiring women be given information about what abortion procedure they will have, the name of the doctor, line drawings of the gestational age of their unborn baby,  other options to abortion such as adoption, and at least one day to review the material

The Miss America pageant has dropped from its list of standards for contestants the requirements that they must not have had an abortion or a divorce.  The rules were reportedly changed in order to bring the pageant in line with New Jersey’s anti-discrimination laws.  (Nando.net)
