BALTIMORE, July 29 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Cardinal William H. Keeler, Chairman of the U.S. Bishops’ Committee for Pro-Life Activities, and Archbishop of Baltimore, will offer the Respect Life Mass at St. Alphonsus in downtown Baltimore on August 12th. EWTN reports that immediately following Mass the Cardinal will lead hundreds, perhaps thousands of Catholics in a prayerful procession to the local Planned Parenthood abortuary for a Rosary Rally to pray for an end to abortions being performed there.
This Respect Life Mass and Rosary Rally is part of a monthly pro-life ministry in the Baltimore Archdiocese to pray for an end to abortion, and prayerfully witness to the dignity of the unborn at a nearby abortion mill. The aim is to raise awareness among the general population concerning the barbaric practice of abortion, to pray for its end, to also pray for the conversion of all those involved in abortion, and to offer pro-life assistance to those approaching the abortuaries.
