Louie Gohmert of Texas greeted Dr. Simone Gold of America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) upon her early release today from federal prison, where she had been serving a 60-day sentence for entering and delivering prepared remarks inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6. Gohmert presented her with a flag that had been flown over the U.S. Capitol.

Nevada gubernatorial candidate Joey Gilbert, who is the chairman of the board of AFLDS, also greeted her.
“I’m back!” Gold, who is also a lawyer, told supporters, and did 35 pushups.
