WASHINGTON, Oct 25 (LSN.ca) – Congressional negotiators have agreed on a $14.9 billion foreign aid measure which will allow US monies to be used to pay for abortion and abortion lobbying overseas. The agreement allows for $425 million to overseas “family planning programs”, up from last year’s $385 million. Pro-lifers were however able to ensure that no monies would be spent until Feb. 15, leaving the decision to the next US President.
Commenting on the decision, pro-life Rep. Christopher Smith said, “First and foremost, it’s not good . . . (but) the real outcome will be decided on Nov. 7 (election day).”
