BOSTON, Mass., Dec 21 (LSN)  Last week Massachusetts’ highest court ruled that parents who home-school their children have the right to refuse visits to their homes by school officials. After a seven-year lawsuit, Justice John Greaney ruled that school authorities in the Lynn school district were wrong to require home visits. Michael Farris, a lawyer from the Virginia-based Home School Legal Defense Association said “If this decision would have gone the other way, we think there would have been copycat school districts all over the country, reported the Boston Globe.
