COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA, May 11 (LSN)  Medical students graduating at the University of Southern Carolina last week were asked to take an altered, politically-correct version of the Hippocratic Oath.  The ancient doctor’s oath was edited to remove promises against assisting in suicides and committing abortions. Attributed to Hippocrates, a Greek medical practitioner who lived in the third century B.C., the traditional oath includes promises never to “give a deadly drug to anybody if asked for it,”  never to “give to a woman an abortive remedy.”
