Catholic News Service reports that Bishop John F. Kinney of St. Cloud Minn. has blasted the opening of a Planned Parenthood abortuary in his community. “I am particularly disturbed that they have chosen to do this in a community that is strongly supportive of human life at all stages,” he said.

National Review reports that a new Kellyanne Fitzpatrick’s poll shows that a plurality of voters – 48 percent – are pro-life while 41 percent believe that abortion should be generally permitted. The majority believe, that is, that abortion should either be prohibited or allowed only in cases of rape, incest, or a threat to the life of the mother. However, the 41 percent includes 24 percent who would allow abortion only in the first trimester. Only 12 percent of voters believe abortions should be allowed at any time during a woman’s pregnancy and for any reason, which is the state of abortion law in America today. The poll also confirmed repeated survey findings that women are slightly more likely than men to be pro-life.  https://www.nationalreview.com/daily/nr032301.shtml
