In San Francisco, the government officially renounced the Truth in Love campaign, which shares the Bible with homosexuals, accusing it of “hateful rhetoric.” Truth in Love was co-sponsored by pro-family groups. The City said that calling homosexuality a sin leads to violence against homosexuals, and the ministries were partly to blame for the murder of Matthew Shepard, the homosexual beaten to death in Wyoming.
