The New York City-based Rachel Ministry has launched an advertising campaign in the NYC subways and on the Internet this week, aimed at reaching the estimated millions of women who suffer from post-abortion trauma with information about help and healing. The ads are geared to a young, urban audience, using first-person testimony, with intriguing teaser copy, straight-on head shots of the subjects, edgy graphics, and bold colors. Ads are running as posters in subway cars throughout the New York City system – 1000 posters in all – and nationally as banner ads on the Internet that direct web surfers to www.projectrachel.net

Bills were introduced into the US House and Congress yesterday to curb the use of RU-486.
