HUMAN TISSUE COMPANY ORDERED TO SHUT DOWN The US’s largest processor and supplier of donated human tissue for transplantation has been ordered to shut down a key part of its operation. The Food and Drug Administration says this is because CryoLife cannot guarantee the tissue it supplies is free from fungal and bacterial contamination.
