The American Heart Association is considering endorsing and even paying for research of embryonic stem cells, the building blocks of all human tissue typically derived from aborted fetuses or human embryos. The experiments hope to bring breakthroughs for people suffering from ailments including heart diseases and strokes. “We’re creating a whole new market for these babies,” said Kyleen Wright, president for the Texans for Life Coalition.
