A Dear Abby column appearing in newspapers in the Los Angeles area a few weeks ago supported assisted suicide.  In response to Faye Girsh of the Hemlock Society, Abby wrote: “I am pleased to publish the Hemlock Society’s mission: “To maximize the options for a good death,  including   legalizing physician aid in dying for terminally ill, mentally competent adults who request it,  under careful safeguards.” She then gave the Hemlock Society’s address for more info. Last week US President Bill Clinton proclaimed June to be Gay and Lesbian Pride Month, 2000.  During the proclamation Clinton boasted “Today, more openly gay and lesbian individuals serve in senior posts throughout the Federal Government than during any other Administration.’

Former President Ford, who is pro-abortion, encouraged George W. Bush to consider an abortion advocate as his running mate, and erroneously implied such a choice could be the difference between winning and losing a close race.

American Family Radio reports that Pete LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality feels it will not be long before members of the American Psychological Association and the American Psychiatric Association will lose their licenses for helping homosexuals who come to them for help in moving to a straight lifestyle. He says the intolerance level of the   homosexual community has been growing rapidly over the past few years, and that their movement does not allow for dissension in any form.
