Hillary Rodham Clinton has finally announced officially that she is running for the US Senate at the State University in New York at Purchase. Just prior to the announcement yesterday, the audience was blasted with the sexually explicit and crude lyrics of Billy Joel’s “Captain Jack.”
Catholic World News reported Friday that Connecticut’s Albertus Magnus College, a small Catholic college, is being sued by its former Associate Dean Michael Hartwig who was fired in 1997 after he revealed his homosexuality and his intention to publish articles against abstinence, thus contradicting Church teaching. In a victory for pro-lifers and basic freedom US federal Judge Dennis Shedd overruled a South Carolina State Ethics Commission decision that forced Citizens for Life to be restricted by campaign finance laws as if it was a partisan political organization.
