The Alaska Supreme Court is hearing arguments regarding parental consent for abortion for girls under 17. MSNBC News reported Monday that the state and the group Concerned Alaskan Parents are asking the high court to send the matter to Superior Court for trial. They are challenging the lower court’s ruling that the state’s parental consent law is unconstitutional.
