WASHINGTON, July 20 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Today, a US House panel took up The Born Alive Infant Protection Act of 2000. The debate surrounds what should be done in the case of a botched abortion where the child is born live. A heart-rending presentation to the panel was made by Gianna Jessen, the young pro-life activist who is disabled as the result of an abortion which failed to kill her. Other presentations were made by M.D.‘s and other experts in the field.
