NEW YORK, Jan 9, 2001 (LSN.ca) – In a nationwide Zogby poll of 1,005 likely voters, it was found that 51% of Americans believe that “abortion destroys a human life and is manslaughter” while 35% believe that “abortion does not destroy a life and is not manslaughter.” Reuters reports that eight percent agreed with neither statement while 6% said they weren’t sure.
