PALM SPRINGS, California, Jan 20 (LSN) – Last Friday, the Republican National Committee (RNC) voted not to accept Representative Tim Lambert’s resolution to ban support for RNC candidates who support partial -birth abortion. After heated debate and support for the measure from the Christian Coalition and noted US pro-life advocates such as Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family, the RNC voted down the resolution. RNC chairman Jim Nicholson and Representative Henry Hyde of Illinois led the opposition to the motion.
