WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) – U.S. Senator John Kennedy condemned the “woke” left for intimidation of SCOTUS justices amid the potential overturning of Roe v. Wade.
On Monday, Kennedy told Fox’s “America’s Newsroom” host Bill Hemmer that the left will continue their attempts to intimidate Supreme Court justices for as long as they are permitted to do so.
“This is more than just about abortion. It’s about respect for American institutions,” said the U.S. Senator from Louisiana.
“I think most people can say that all of this is being driven by the anti-intellectual, crypto-socialist woke left that the Biden administration has embraced and frankly, that is in charge of in Washington, D.C.”
What you allow is what will continue.

“When the draft opinion was leaked, the wokers’ response was immediate,” Kennedy stated. “They said, ‘We don’t agree with it, so let’s burn the place down, let’s intimidate the justices, let’s intimidate their spouses, let’s intimidate their kids, let’s publish their telephone numbers and addresses on the Internet and, while we’re at it, let’s pack the court and abolish the filibuster.'”
“What you allow is what will continue, and the Biden administration has embraced that,” he warned. “I don’t think the Biden administration and most of my Democratic colleagues have pushed back at all.”
In the weeks following the leaked draft opinion which could overturn Roe v. Wade, the addresses of the justices were made public, resulting in pro-abortion activists protesting outside their private residences.
One protest occurred just hours after an armed man who intended to kill pro-life justice Brett Kavanaugh was arrested outside the justice’s home.
While these protests outside Supreme Court justices’ homes are illegal according to American law, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to publicly denounce the aggressive demonstrators.
Her predecessor, Jen Psaki, claimed that the White House encourages “peaceful” protests “outside of judges’ homes, and that’s the president’s position.”
Additionally, pro-abortion radical group Ruth Sent Us recently threatened pro-life Justice Kavanaugh’s children, revealing that it knows where they attend school.

As the Supreme Court moves closer to publishing its judgment, pro-abortion intimidation is increasing with pro-abortion militant group Jane’s Revenge’s actions escalating from spraying graffiti to firebombing pregnancy centers while promising an ongoing increase in violent attacks.
Senator Ted Cruz condemned Jane’s Revenge as “threatening terrorist conduct” as the group recently declared “open season” on pro-life groups, promising to escalate violence.
Earlier this month, US Homeland Security warned of potential terrorist violence over the pending Roe v. Wade decision, claiming that pro-life supporters as well as pro-abortion activists have been encouraging violence, despite zero evidence of violence or threat of violence committed by the pro-life side.
