WASHINGTON, Jan 17 (LifeSiteNews) – On Friday the US Supreme Court agreed to hear a case involving the dismissal of a homosexual activist from his position as a Boy Scout leader once his homosexual advocacy was discovered. Last summer the New Jersey Supreme Court ruled that the Boy Scouts policy forbidding avowed homosexuals from membership and leadership violated state discrimination laws.

The case, the Boy Scouts of America v. James Dale, is scheduled to be heard in April with a decision expected by July.
