WASHINGTON, Mar 10 (LSN) – In an address to the American Medical Association yesterday,  Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia said Congress, rather than the Supreme Court should decide on issues such as abortion and physician-assisted suicide. “You want a right to abortion, create it the way most rights are created in a democracy: pass a law,” he said. “If you don’t want it, pass a law the other way. And if you want a right to (physician-assisted) suicide, the same.”  Emphasizing that it is not the role of the justices to make good interpretations of bad legislation, Scalia noted, “the system is really garbage in, garbage out.”“Indeed,  often I and my colleagues do not like in particular the results that we produce,”  Scalia said.
