VANCOUVER, BC, Dec 2 (LSN)  In a story in today’s Vancouver Sun regarding a nurses strike at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH), the paper said that the hospital, while having to turn away some patients has approved doing “several late-term therapeutic abortions.” Dr. Jeff Coleman,  VGH’s vice-president of medical affairs, while complaining that VGH is the only facility in the province that does late-term abortions, revealed that abortions take place even beyond the 19th week of the preborn child’s development. “If they (abortions) extend beyond 19 weeks,  they become major procedures,” he said.
