PRINCE GEORGE, B.C., June 8 (LSN) – Former British Columbia premier Bill Vander Zalm, a staunch pro-lifer,  was acclaimed president of the B.C. Reform Party at a convention on the weekend. Vander Zalm said that although he does not intend to seek the party leadership, his plans may change. The B.C. Reform Party is similar in policy to the Reform Party of Canada, but is not officially endorsed by Reform.
