UNITED NATIONS, October 30, 2002 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Msgr. Celestino Migliore, undersecretary of the Section for Relations with States of the Secretariat of State, has been appointed as permanent observer of the Holy See to the Organization of the United Nations.  The appointment is accompanied by an elevation to the level of archbishop.

Dan Zeidler, President of the Family Life Council and a representative for the Latin American Alliance for the Family told LifeSite that he has met with and spoken to Msgr.
