September 16, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A video has been released of a crowd of pro-abortion activists shouting down a pro-life event at George State University on Wednesday with shouts of “trust black women!”

The event was called “surreal” and “bizarre” by black pro-life activist Ryan Bomberger, who was the keynote speaker for the event, and who pointed out the irony that the pro-abortion activists “were mostly white women/men shouting this at me and black women in audience.”

Bomberger, who works with The Radiance Foundation, told LifeSiteNews.com that the theme of his talk “was about abortion, eugenics, and the impact that Planned Parenthood has had on the black community.”

After the pro-abortion activists entered the room and began shouting, Bomberger tried to engage them in a conversation, but was only greeted with more shouts of, “Trust black women!”

“They obviously knew nothing about the issue other than parroting talking points from the radically pro-abortion activist group, Sistersong (based in Atlanta),” said Bomberger, who is one of the main forces behind the popular TooManyAborted.com ad campaign.

“Trust Black Women is Sistersong’s national effort to smear our TooManyAborted.com campaign, relying upon mantras and distortions instead of discussing the alarming stats and consequences of rampant abortion,” Bomberger continued. “The student protesters were forced to leave by campus police, as they refused to allow, or be a part of, the conversation. Some ‘prochoice’ dissenters in the audience scolded the protesters and told them they should participate and listen.”
